该机主副减速箱通过螺栓安装在与闸门吊点相对应的机架型钢上,其它机构均安装在主副减速箱上。它通过摇动手柄，带动锥齿轮-传动轴-锥齿轮将动力传到时丝杠母上，丝杠母带动丝杆，从而带动闸门上升或下降。主传动箱设有闸门启升高度指示器，通过指示器读数可知道闸门启闭高度。启落闸门前,应将高度指示器指针调整到合适位置。
