1. To help Ss know the usage of “Where/What/When are you going？” Make sure they can use them correctly.

In this lesson， communication method, task—based method and situational method will be used。

The CAI， recorder， cassette and some word cards will be needed.
VII. Teaching steps。
Step1. Warm-up and preview.
1。     Show the word cards and read it quickly.
2.     Let's sing。
Show the song ，help Ss sing it.
This step is to form a better situation for the Ss by speaking
and singing。 They will come into the real surrounding of English learning。 And it can also review the learnt knowledge for the next step。
Step2. Presentation。

a.     Look at the picture and say the books。
b。     Listen and circle。
2。     Let's talk.
a。     Listen to the tape and answer the Q:
(1） Where is Chen Jie going?
(2） What is she going to buy？
b。  Look at the book ,read and answer ： When is she going？
In this step, I will ask some Ss to answer this question correctly， and write it on the Bb。
