I. Teaching material analysis.
Today I’ll talk about Part B of Unit 3 “What are you going to do?” PEP Primary English Book7. This lesson includes 2 parts: “Let’s try” and “Let’s talk”. In section 1, it provides a situation for Ss to train Ss’ ability of listening. In section 2, it mainly ask and answer the shopping plan.
II．Teaching aims.
1.  Aims on the knowledge.
a. Can listen, say, read and write: Where are you going this afternoon? I’m going to the bookstore. What are you going to buy? I am going to buy a comic book. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in a real situation.
b. Can listen, say and read: When are you going? I’m going at 3 o’clock.
2.  Aims on the ability.
a. To develop Ss’ abilities of reading and writing.
b. To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups.
c. To foster the Ss’ abilities of communication.
3. Aims on the emotion.
a. To foster the Ss’ consciousness of not waste the money.
III. Important points.
To help Ss master the sentences: “Where/What/When are you going?”
IV. Difficult points.
1. To help Ss know the usage of “Where/What/When are you going?” Make sure they can use them correctly.

V. Teaching method.
In this lesson, communication method, task—based method and situational method will be used.
