In 1949 Lyman T. Johnson, paved the way for African American Students to enroll at the University of Kentucky

Lyman T. Johnson (1906 - 1997) Lyman Tefft Johnson is best known as the plaintiff whose essful legal challenge opened the University of Kentucky to African–American Students in 1949.
