申维辰被查处前并无明显征兆，据媒体报道，4月9日他还出席江西省科协第七次代表大会并发表讲话，中科协网站在4月10日还曾经刊登他在密云调研的消息。

知情人分析，从申维辰被带走的过程看，说明中纪委办案前没有任何消息透露，“将其从机场带走、不让开机、当晚就宣布其涉嫌违纪违法，一气呵成”。
有媒体报道，山西得一文化集团董事长胡树嵬和山西千禧集团原董事长史国民在4月4日被带走调查，其部分办公室贴着封条。据山西商界人士介绍，出生于1969年的胡树嵬也是山西人，山西大学肄业，20年前将企业挂靠在团省委主管的《山西青年》杂志社下做图书生意，后因盗版、出版非法内容获刑。此后，胡树嵬开发得一文化广场主营图书批发业务，与时任省委宣传部长的申维辰结识，常支持、赞助省委宣传部的文化活动。“找到靠山”的胡树嵬宣布进军房地产，目前其开发的“得一·理想者探访发现，其售楼处大门关闭，保安守护大门，房价需要保安代为询问。
目前，得一文化集团的办公室也加强了“戒备”，北青报记者发现，到得一广场4楼的电梯不停，该集团需要预约才能进入，该集团人员也拒绝接受采访。
