定语从句中关系副词的使用
关系副词在定语从句中所作的成
份:
关系副词在定语从句中都作状语。
when 作时间状语;where 作地点状
语;why 作原因状语。
—Look ! What is the date today?
—Today is Sept. 1st ,the day ______
we begin our new semester.
when
--Where is it? It is the playground.
--It is a place _______ we can play
basketball .
where
--What are they doing?
--They are performing at the class meeting .

why
关系副词when, where和why也可用“介词+which”来代替,要注意其先行词(名词)与介词的合理搭配,介词根据先行词或定语从句的谓语动词来确定。
