论文题目: 商务英语课程设置及教学方法研究
Study on Business English Curriculumrporations expand Chinese market. Due to this, Chinese education departments follow with interest in development of business English. Majority of universities set up this hot major. Based on series of survey and questionnaires about curriculum setting and teaching methods, this thesis absorbs former experience and put out several personal proposals.
II. Curriculum setting
1. Situations
After survey, it is obvious that it has great difference in curriculum setting among each area. Mainly, it can be divided into four models:
Model1, English + business curriculums, that is, adding some Non-systematic business knowledge into traditional English curriculum. Such as, Foreign Trade English Translation, Foreign Trade English Letters and Telegrams and so on. The graduates can only do with simply business matters, lacking of ability to work directly for business.
Model 2, business English, based on application in English language courses and culture courses, the college sets a series of Business English courses. Such as, Introduction to International Trade, Marketing. Although the model broadens the business knowledge, the focus is on English.
Model 3, English + business courses (Chinese). This model distinguishes between English courses and business knowledge. Normally, the colleges employ professional teachers to teach. Students can learn business knowledge systematically but cannot get enough with limited class.
Model 4, English + business majors (English). Compared with former models, it increases the difficulty in both teachers and students. In essence, it becomes dual-professional courses in English. So it will leads high cost and heavy burden on students.

Business English teaching also can be divided into three stages: start with arousing students' interest, then teaching complex major courses, finally helping studen
