Introduce Leo and tell Ss that he likes traveling and show Ss the places.
show an article about Leo and ask the Ss to read out together and answer the related questions of the article: (1)Where did Leo go two months ago，last month and last week?（2）What did he do in Guangzhou?

Ask Ss to underline the time and words in simple past tense and work out the rules. After finishing, work in a group and prepare for the word-changing competition.
