出示动物图片。
让学生表演各种动物,启发他们说说各种动物的特色。比如袋鼠跳得高,小鸟飞得高,鱼游得远等。
T: Yes! Good! A kangaroo jump high.
板书词组jump high,带读。
T: Look, there is a rabbit. What can act it? Yes, it can run fast. It rung faster than a tortoise, but the tortoise can swim. It swims slowly. Which animal can swim fast?
帮助学生回答:“Fish can swim fast.”然后板书词组run fast, swim fast。带读。让学生们集体、分组、单个练读。
用同样的方法引出throw far, fly high。
听课文A部分录音,复述所听内容。让学生们介绍自己的实际,说说自己在体育方面有什么特长。鼓励学生们大胆会话。
听录音,跟读。
分组练习。分角色表演。

选择几位学生分别扮演几种动物,其余的学生猜猜是什么动物。猜中的学生完整地表述该动物的特点。
