Nowadays, the global has seen many changes, among which the arrival of "teaching skill polishing course" stands out as the most remarkable feature of the modern society. Experts who set up this course claimed that with the technology developing at a high rate, teachers, as the conveyor of knowledge, should be equipped with the newest knowledge and skills. In my opinion, I strongly support such a point. My reasons are as follows.
First of all, not only teachers but every person needs to study for lifetime. A old Chinese saying goes that "it's never too old to start learning." For a person, it's definitely better to read a useful and meaningful book than to sit in front of puter playing online games or fix his eyes on the TV screen. It seems that books and other educational devices could provide us a huge amount of knowledge raging from history to biology which makes people’s life more colorful. Moreover, it has been well proved these years that knowledge is power. The literacy rate is a great standard to evaluate a country's development.
