IEEE1588 based time works for smart substations

Abstract:Time synchronization system is one of key techniques for substation intellectualization.
The requirement of time synchronization system for smart substation is introduced and the princi-
ple of IEEE 1588clock synchronization is analyzed in this PTP time synchronization
network method is then presented,the clock synchronization model is constructed and redundant
schemes are PTP time work can satisfy the requirement of self-
healing for smart grid,it can apply in the construction of substation clock synchronization sys-
tem.
