科学与宗教关系述评

当下的时代是科技迅猛发展的时代,也是宗教信仰自由的时代。作为两大思
想文化的主流——科学与宗教,它们之间的关系历来是学术界关注的焦点。在众
多的研究成果中,有人主张冲突论,有人主张融合论,也有人主张无关论。但是,
科学与宗教的关系问题绝非如此简单。
本文首先明确概念,文中所谈的科学不是指广义的包括自然科学、人文社会
科学、心理学等在内的大范畴,而是专指狭义的自然科学。文中所谈的宗教则主
要指基督教。
本文主要是采用“先述后评”的方式,通过作者对科学与宗教关系问题的研
究,包括“冲突论”中的三个里程碑事件,“融合论”中的查尔斯·、
约翰·波尔金霍恩、皮埃尔·泰亚尔·德·夏尔丹、伊安·,
以及少数“无关论”的观点等,加上理性的哲学判断,“去粗取精,去伪存真,
由此及彼,由表及里”,相对系统地阐述作者对科学与宗教关系问题的解读,并
由此得出处理科学与宗教关系问题的态度、方式、方法,即“求同存异”“寻求
共赢”。
本文分五章,一二章是“框架”,三四章是“批判”,第五章是能动的“意识”,
由此来建构出具有灵魂的“体系”。在第一章引言中,论述了本研究的意义和国
内外研究现状;在第二章中,阐述了科学与宗教关系问题提出的背景,包括历史
背景和理论背景;在第三章中,陈述了科学与宗教关系史上的三个里程碑事件,
通过对事件前因后果的理性分析,提出了对冲突论观点的批判;在第四章中,选
取了四位有代表性的支持融合论的学者的观点,通过分析指出他们理论的不足;
第五章是本文的创新,对前文冲突论和融合论进行总结分析,论述了科学与宗教
在人类历史进程中各自所发挥的作用,存在哪些不同,再通过对科学与宗教关系
的辩证分析,论证了二者的和谐相处与合理共存,最后提出处理科学与宗教关系
问题的手段。从现实应用的角度来看,科学与宗教对人类社会的发展都有重要的
作用,关键在于如何通过对科学与宗教关系的把握,来建立一个“科学—宗教关
系体系”,让这个关系体系发挥更大的作用。

Review the relationship between science and
religion
Abstract
The current time is the time that the rapid development of science and technology,
but also the time that the freedom of religious belief. As the two major mainstream of
thought and culture -science and religion, the relationship between them has always
been the academic focus. Among the many research results, it is argued that conflict
theory, it is argued that integration of theory, but also someone that has nothing to do
theory. However, the problem of the relationship between science and religion is not
so simple.
In this thesis, the concept must be clear, the science is mentioned is not referring
to a broad science, including natural sciences, humanities and social sciences,
psychology, but refers specifically to the narrow sense of the natural sciences.
Religious is mentioned in the thesis mainly refers to the Christian religion.
The main approach in the thesis is "first st
