摆臂式自卸汽车是自卸汽车中的一种,以其显著的特点得到了广泛的应用。摆臂式自卸汽车摆臂可以平移起落货箱,同时具有货物和箱体自动装卸的功能,而且两种功能由同一个车载工作装置完成。由于它具备自动装卸箱体功能,加装货物时一般均将箱体卸下降低装料高度装满料后,则将箱体自动装车并运输。摆臂式自卸汽车使用方便运输效率高,摆臂式自卸汽车又依其特有的机动灵活的特点被广泛应用于小吨位货物的运输。
本设计中的主要工作及过程如下:首先进行了专用车辆的发展现状的简要的概述,接下来就是方案的分析与选择,其中包括底盘、副车架以及托架的选择设计,总布置方案的分析和确定。然后进入了专用装置的设计,有液压系统的设计、取力器的选用以及摆臂的设计等,最后是对整车总性能的分析。

ABSTRACT
Arm-type dump truck is a vehicle, with its notable features has been widely used. Swing arm type truck cargo can shift the ups and downs, it also has automatic loading and unloading goods and the functions of , and two functions of a vehicle by the same device plete the work. Because of its functional with automatic loading and unloading, loading will generally reduce the loading height to unload boxes filled with material, the box will automatically load and transport. Efficient use of transport vehicle, truck-style swing and its unique characteristics of mobile and flexible is widely used in small tonnage of goods in transit.
The main contect of the design as follows: first, it introuduces the special-purpose automobile’s development; secondly, it introuduces the analysis and choise of the project; the project includes the design of the chassis, the assistant frame , the bracket and ensuring the total project. Thirdly, it introuduces the design of special equipment, including the design of hydraulic pressure, the choise of the implement and the design of the waving arm of dumping truck. Finally, it checks all the kinds of equipment and calulates the capability of the special-purpose automobile.

专用车辆是为了实现各类专项作业的车辆。
我国对“专用汽车”定义为:装置有专用设备,具备有专用功能,用于承担专门运输任务或专项作业的汽车和汽车列车。
我国的专用汽车划分为:厢式汽车、罐式汽车、专用自卸汽车、起重举升起车、仓栅汽车和特种结构汽车等六大类。其中专用自卸汽车的定义为:装有由本身发动机驱动的液压举升机构,能将车箱卸下或使车箱倾斜一定角度,货物依靠自重能自行卸下的专用汽车。
