BEIJING, Feb. 23 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- , Inc. (Nasdaq: NTES), one of China's leading
and online game providers, today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year
ended December 31, 2005.
Highlights for the Fourth Quarter 2005
- Total revenues increased by % to million (US$ million);
- Online game revenues were better than pany's guidance and
increased % to million (US$ million);
- Net profit for the quarter grew % to million (US$
million), equivalent to US$ (basic) and US$ (diluted) earnings
per American Depositary Share;
- Fantasy Westward Journey and Westward Journey Online II reported record
peak concurrent user numbers of approximately 1,043,000 and 554,000,
respectively, for the fourth quarter; and
- Fantasy Westward Journey reached a record high of over one million peak
concurrent users in December 2005.
Highlights for Fiscal Year 2005
- Total revenues grew % to RMB1, million (US$ million);
- Online game revenues grew % to RMB1, million (US$
million) on the continued strength and leading positions of in-house
developed games, Fantasy Westward Journey and Westward Journey Online
II; and
- Net profit for the year grew % to million (US$
million), equivalent to US$ (basic) and US$ (diluted) earnings
per American Depositary Share.
