文摘采取问卷调查和开放式访谈对留学生的图书馆信息需求、信息服务满意度、图书馆信息资源利用及图书馆信息服务障碍进行调查。分析留学生在图书馆信息需求和图书馆信息利用存在的障碍,并提出从完善信息服务出发,采取个性化服务和增强信息资源建设来提高信息需求服务水平。为留学生创造一个适合他们在中国高校学习的信息需求服务空间。

Demand Analysis on Library Information of International Students in Universities

Abstract: The library information demand, information satisfaction, the information resources utilization and the information service barriers of the international students were investigated by the questionnaires and open interviews. The barriers of the international students during the library information demand and utilization have been analyzed, and the improvement of the information service level can be achieved by the perfecting information services, the adopting personalized services and the enhancement of information resources. It is aimed to create an appropriate information service space in library for the international students in China.

外国留学生不仅仅是学生,同时也是一批宝贵的智力资源。他们被中国数千年的渊源文化所吸引不远万里来到这里求学,各大高校也成为了他们的聚居地。作为高校的文献信息服务机构,典藏着知识精华的图书馆自然成为了他们学习了解中国文化的窗口。当前积极推动大学国际化进程是新时期我国高校发展面临的重大课题,即通过引进国外优质教育资源,推动大学课程体系与国际嫁接,教学和科学研究项目与国际接轨,校园数字化建设与国际同步,校园国际学生比例大幅攀升,它体现为包括教育观念、课程、人才、技术、信息等各种教育资源的跨国交互流动,是国际人才交流中的“自然人”智力流动方式。[1-3]教育部20
