板坯连铸中间包结构
优化的研究

摘要结合不锈钢公司板坯中间包生产现状,利用水模实验对中间包内钢水流动特性进行研究。结果表明:原型
中间包结构存在明显的短路流,钢水停留时间偏短,死区体积分率偏高,不利于夹杂物上浮去除。采用移动挡墙、
改变挡坝高度的控流方式时,由于钢水流经路径增长和全混流体积分率增加,响应时间增长,死区体积分率显著减
小至 14%以下,有利于夹杂物上浮去除。

Study on Optimization of Tundish Configuration in
Slab Continuous Casting

Abstract Fluid flow characteristics of the slab tundish was studied by water modeling experiment based on the practical
production of Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. The results showed that there is obvious short circuited flow that resulted in a short
residence time and higher dead volume ratio,which is harmful to removal of using of remove weirs and
change height of dams,the flow path is prolonged and the volume fraction plete mixing flow can be a
result,the minimum residence time is obviously increased,and the dead zone volume fraction is decreased up to lower than
14%,which is favorable for the removal of inclusions and increase of yield ratio of molten steel.
