[Abstract] Objective To observe the clinical effect of electromyographic bined with acupuncture in the treatment of foot drop in stroke patients. Methods A total of 100 patients with bined with foot drop hemiplegia who were enrolled in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2016 were
selected as the study subjects. According to the random number method, they were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 50 patients in each group. Lower extremity motor function(FMA-L) was evaluated, ankle joint active mobility(AROM) was measured and tibial anterior muscle surface electromyogram signal(sEMG) was tested after admission in both groups. The patients werre followed by conventional neurological treatment and routine rehabilitation therapy in the Department of Neurology, and then were given electromyographic biofeedback therapy. On this basis, the observation group was further given acupuncture treatment, with three cycles of treatment. After the treatment, the total effective rate of treatment, ankle activity, tibial anterior muscle recovery and the incidence ratte of adverse reactions and patients' satisfaction pared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate(94%) in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(76%), and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=, P=); the scores of treatment satisfaction were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group
