A word or phrase syntactically subordinate to another word or phrase that it modifies; for example, my sister's and brown

ATTRIBUTIVES
A word or word group, such as an adjective, that is placed adjacent to the noun it modifies without a linking verb;
for example

Part plete and plete sentences
A sentence is a group of words containing a subject and a verb and expressing plete thought.
People sometimes have two basic sentence errors: fragment and run-on sentence.

NOTE
A sentence fragment is a group of words which does not express plete thought. Since it is part of a sentence, it must not be allowed to stand by itself.
