If hands could free you, heart,
Where would you fly?
假如双手给你自由,
心啊你会飞往何处?
Far, beyond every part
Of earth this running sky
Makes desolate?
是否远在红尘之外,
穹苍运转变为荒芜?
Would you cross city and hill and sea?
是否你想穿城而过,
飞越山峰海洋横渡?
If hands could set you free?
I would not lift the latch.
假如双手给你自由,
我却宁愿插销锁住。
For I could run
Through fields, pit-valleys
我的双脚可以奔跑,
越过原野穿过峡谷。
Catch all beauty under the sun 
Still end in loss
阳光之下追逐美丽,
虽然最终一无所获。  
I should find no bent arm
No bed to rest my head.
我料难找依赖臂弯,
我也没有躺卧之处。
