Passenger vehicle brake bench test method
This standard is suitable for each kind of passenger vehicle driving brake, and it’s required
that front and rear two brakes shall be tested together.
1. Inspection items
Brake approval test.
Brake hot decline and restore experiment.
Pipeline expiration and assistor expiration experiment.
Wear test
2. Test equipment and instrument
Equipment
As for inertia type double-wheel brake test platform (or mono-wheel test platform), the
pick-up should satisfy the cycle time as defined in the decline experiment.
Test platform pressure supply system should satisfy the brake pressure of all operating
modes, and maintain stable.
Test platform cooling system should cause trial produce motion place wind speed 11m/s.
Instrument and precision requirement
the allowed difference of the instruction and the recording brake force torch, the brake
temperature, the stopping distance, the stop time, the brake line liquid head and the test
platform axial rotation instrument, should be equal to or be smaller than the instrument full
measuring range ±2%.
The allowed difference of pressure and brake temperature of brake line liquid etc. is ±5%.
