浅析英语新闻的语言特色

摘要: 本文从英语新闻角度出发, 研究了英语新闻的语言特色方面的问题。与同类研究相比, 本文旨在突出研讨
新闻英语的写作格式和语法结构, 以及英语新闻的要素、语态、时态和词汇等方面的问题; 分别介绍了研究英语新
闻语言特色的必要性、英语新闻标题、导语和正文的语言特色、英语新闻中词汇的主要特点; 对英语新闻中各种不
同句式问题进行了讨论, 并且强调加强英语新闻语言特色研习的重要性和培养学生养成接触英语新闻良好习惯的
紧迫性。

Abstract: W e exam ine the linguistic features of English new s sto ries issue in this study from the English new s per
spective. D ifferent from p revious research, this paper w ants to emphasize the impo rtance of fam iliarization of the
linguistic features in the study of English new s sto ries. In w hat fo llow s, w e w ant to discuss the essential elem ents
of new s sto ries. T here are five parts in this paper. W e start w ith a brief introduction to the impo rtance of mo re ex
po sures to English new s. T hen w e deal respectively w ith linguistic features of English new s titles, the lead and the
body of the new s, and the peculiarities of vocabulary in the English new s. A n additional discussion of varied sen
tence structures is also p rovided. Som e useful imp lications obtained from this study include the impo rtance of a
clo se study of the linguistic features of English new s sto ries and necessity
