Abstract
We propose in this paper a new architecture for requirements engineering tools based on the incorporation of web-technology. The structure ponents of the two architecture models of current CASE technology are discussed: data-integration architecture, and control-integration architecture. The ponents are included in the -based architecture, divided into a client side for the various requirements engineering workstations, and three kinds of resource servers: a method engineering server, a model server, and an existing system server. We end with a discussion of the main research themes for the realisation -based requirements engineering.
