我国传统外语教学法一直偏重知识性灌输,忽略口头交际能力的培养。英语教学的实质就是交际,而口语交际能力的培养是外语教学的核心。特别是改革开放后,提高中学生英语口语是当前英语教育的重要任务。因此要做到如何提高中学生英语口语就需要不断的去探究,本文首先阐述了英语口语的重要性,然后分析了中学英语口语存在的问题和原因,主要从影响中学生学习英语口语的内外在因素展开分析,最后在此基础上提出了在课堂内外提高英语口语的对策和建议,从而希望对激发中学生学习英语的兴趣和提高中学生英语口语的表达能力有所帮助。

Abstract
In the tradition methods of English teaching, the teachers prefer inculcating knowledge rather than cultivating the ability of spoken English. However the essence of English teaching munication and the core of English teaching is cultivating the ability of spoken English. Especially after the reforming and opening up, the important task of English teaching is to improve high school student’s spoken English. So how to improve high school students’ spoken English needs continuous research. This article first describes the importance of spoken English, then analyzes the problems and reasons of high school spoken English,mainly from the inside and outside factors that effect high school students spoken English learning. On this basis, it put forwards some countermeasures and suggestions to improve oral English both inside and outside the classroom, and hope to inspire high school students interested in learning English and improve students’ spoken English ability to express.
