Abstract: Total hip arthroplasty mon joint replacement method in senile patients, which is characterized by large wound, large amount of bleeding, and great stimulation. Anesthesia methods during total hip arthroplasty include epidural anesthesia, epidural and lumbar anesthesia, and general anesthesia. The anesthesia method is dependent on patient condition. Appropriate anesthesia based on disease condition can reduce anesthesia risk. The key of anesthesia is to control anesthesia plane, supplement blood and monitor toxic reaction during cement application. Because senile patients are plicated by respiratory, circulatory and endocrine system diseases, comprehensive treatment before surgery to improve body symptoms can increase anesthesia and surgery tolerance and better guarantee patient safet
