摘要
在此新千年伊始的“十五”时期,我国的城市发展进入了新一阶段,经济重点
从数量扩张为主,转向通过结构调整获得更佳增长质量与效益的新时期。在此结构
调整中,作为城市发展主力军的工业区面临着产业结构、科学技术、管理方式等方
面的极大转变。新老工业区将如何应对这种变化,在城市空间布局、工业区的规划
设计中跟上城市发展的步伐,与城市协调互动发展成为目前迫待研究探讨的问题。
本文首先概述了城市化、工业化、工业区位及其产业结构的一般理论,研究了
工业区布局与城市空间的关系。对国内外工业区变迁改造的理论与实践进行分析与
研究,从中总结经验,与我国现状相结合。然后,以武汉这个具有代表性的老工业
城市为例, 研究武汉城市化发展历程以及在城市化进程中工业区的变迁。城市化进
程使城市工业区向外扩散发展,使城市结构空间呈现圈层式发展,使工业郊区化,
从而促进城乡一体化,农村工业化的快速发展,使工业化与城市化协调发展。
本文以时间为轴,综述了与武汉城市化发展阶段相对应的工业发展的三个历史
阶段:在此发展中,武汉历经了以简单手工业为主到以重工业为主的工业城市的转
变,再以重工业为主地到综合性工业基地的三步曲变迁过程。在空间区位布局上,
按建国初期、改革开放前、改革开放后以及现阶段四个时段,综述了不同时段工业
区空间布局,并从城市经济发展入手,运用城市经济学、城市地理学及城市规划等
理论,对武汉工业区区位形成及其宏观演变进行理论分析。在城市化进程中,“退二
进三”的产业结构调整、土地资源市场化配置、新“区位因子”等动力机制极大地
影响了工业区空间布局的变迁趋势。在以上研究的基础下,对武汉市城市化进程中
工业布局提出了调整与优化方向。同时,通过武汉市老工业区硚口区古田工业区具
体个案分析,研究了老工业区变迁中更新改造方法、原则。最后对城市化进程中工
业空间布局的发展趋势进行探讨,为其他城市提供借鉴。

Abstract
Through the reform and opening-up over several decades of rapid development,
China's major cities have entered a phase of the accelerated process of urbanization. Town
level of industrialization and economic strength has a clear upgrade. At the dawn of this
new millennium, the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, China's urban development has entered
a new stage, the economic focus from quantitative expansion, through structural
adjustment to better quality and efficiency of growth period. In this restructuring, as the
main force in the urban industrial areas are facing industrial development, science and
technology, great management, and other changes. How to deal with new and old
industrial areas, such changing in the spatial distribution of urban and industrial planning
and design, how to keep up the pace of the past few years is a problem to cause our
attentions.
