During the development of Battlefleet Gothic we toyed with ideas for a number of different torpedo types. But we decided that overall the game worked fine with just the standard type plus boarding torpedoes. Rather plicate things unnecessarily we decided to keep the other types back for a later 'Dwarf article (plicate them now instead!).
