As mon derivation methods, the difference belonging to absolute variation quantity is used to reflect the abrupt change of signals, and yet in the proposed improved algorithm the abrupt cha nge of signals is reflected by the value of ratio belonging to relative variation quantity. The essence of abruptly changed si gnals can be reflected more effectively by relative variation quantity than by absolute variation quantity, and relative variation quantity is not affected by its own amplitude of the signal.
