教材内容：本课模块主题The natural world单元主题On the farm,基于教材提供的主题，，将本单元划分为了三个课时，并设计了三个话题Mai Dou’s home, Welcome to my home和 We love animals. 而在第一课时中用小猪Mai Dou来引出它的朋友，反映出对家，朋友的热爱，以此进行故事教学。

Part 1:
T: Look! This is a place. What can you see here?
S: I can see a house/ tree/ flower/ butterfly/ bee…
T: Is this place nice?
S: Yes. It’s nice.
T: Do you know what place it is? It’s Mai Dou’s home.
（通过对麦兜家的环境描写，让学生感受麦兜家的环境之美，激发学生学习的欲望，从而引出本课主题）
T: Who is Mai Dou?
T: This is Mai Dou. It’s a pig. It’s fat. It goes ‘ Oink…Oink…’
