Abstract
Abstract
Little children can understand the connection be tween desires and emotions. Children
may experience mixed emotions, because they must study rules which mon in our
daily life. Researchers have found that, children can experience emotions from simple to
mixture as growing, so do the explanations. Th e goal of current research is to investigate how
the change of predict and explanation though the desires and rules. The research is divided
into two sections:
The first section is to investigate the connection of desire and emotion in the simple
situation. The second section is to investigate the connection of desire and emotion in the
desire -rule conflict situation.
The results are as follows:
1. In the Simple -desire stories, more than 50% of the 5 -to 8 year -old children provided
matching emotions, and th is result has no significant diff erence between ages and genders ;
2. In the Simple -desire stories , all of the whole children have no mixture emotion, and
have only one explanation which is goal oriented ;
3. In the desire – rule conflict stories, the quanti ty of mixed emotion that 5 -8-old
children provided is increasin
