魔怪意象在曹禺早期剧作中的原型解读

原型批评是我国新时期引进的西方当代重要文学批评理论之一在我国文学研
究转型的过程中发挥着不可忽视的积极作用它力图发现文学作品中反复出现的
各种意象叙事结构和人物类型找出它们背后的基本形式并把一系列原型广泛
应用于对作品的分析阐释和评价从而开辟了文学研究新的角度和空间同时
改变了我们囿于传统文艺理论的思维习惯也改变了过去我们将政治化阶级化的
批评模式视为唯一手术刀的批评方式在不断地推进对西方文艺理论本身的理
解的同时将它运用到中国文学的批评研究中努力寻找一个契合点
本文试图改变以往用传统文艺理论方法研究曹禺剧作紧紧抓住原型批评理论
中的魔怪意象角度来切入研究曹禺早期剧作文本本文根据弗莱对魔怪意象
的三个分类魔怪式的神灵原型魔怪式的人的原型和魔怪式的其它世界的原型
对曹禺剧作尤其是早期剧作进行了原型解读重新审视了曹禺剧作中的种种系
列形象为剧中人物做了一些现代心理阐释
魔怪意识同神灵世界心灵世界和生物世界之间的相互渗透透显了人类集
体无意识在剧作者心灵深处的扎根同时也解释了曹禺剧作中时常为人所困惑的
神秘感而这种神秘感并非仅仅是一种神秘主义的写作手法可以解释批评它实
质是一种潜藏在剧作者心灵深处而又难以名状的无意识外泄

Archetypal Analysis of Demonic Imagery
in Caoyu’s Early Drama
Archetypal Criticism is one of the important theories in the west. It was introduced to
China in Chinese literature climacteric. It has played an important role in Chinese
literature criticism, and now on. Archetypal Criticism finds various imageries which
appear repeatedly in literature works and detects basic form named ‘Archetype’. Then it is
applied to analysis of literature works.
Archetypal Criticism was different from Chinese traditional literature theory. It changed
the class-conscious criticism which was the only criticism mode in China. When we move
forward prehension to Archetypal Criticism constantly, we also search a link
between Archetypal Criticism and Chinese literature works, and try to analyze Chinese
literature works by Archetypal Criticism.
This thesis would seize ‘demonic imagery’ in Archetypal Criticism by way of a point of
view to study Caoyu’s early drama and change traditional literature theories which
analyzed Caoyu’s drama. In Frye’s works, Archetypal Criticism involves three worlds of
demonic imagery: the demonic divine world, the demonic human world and the other
demonic world. The author wants to give some psychoanalysis to dramatis personae in
Caoyu’s early works, and want t
