Step1 Lead-in
Have a free talk with Ss to discuss two questions.
Step2 Pre-reading
Present some new words by showing some pictures.
Step3 While-reading
1. Skimming. Read quickly and try to answer some questions.
2. Scanning. Read (Lines 1~4) and answer some questions.
Read (Lines 5~25) and know more about the attractions in New York.
3. Read the passage after the tape aloud.
4. Finish Part B2 and B3 on Pages 38~39.
Step4 Post-reading
Read again and try to say something about the attractions in New
