五四时期胡适文学思想研究

摘要

胡适在总结杜威实验主义哲学对他的影响时说过,杜威实验主义哲学思想给
他最大的指导是在方法论上,他认为杜威的实验主义方法论精髓主要有两点:大
胆假设与小心求证。为了尽可能全面而真实地探究胡适的文学思想,本论文也努
力采用了胡适做学问所采用的方式:通过尽可能多地查阅相关史料,对若干推理
假设作出求证。以胡适文学思想为原点,沿着时空脉络向前溯及其文学思想成因;
向后阐释胡适文学思想重大意义,对其文学思想作出中肯评价。发散的思路整合
成文,具体分为如下三个部分:第一章胡适文学思想溯源,主要是介绍胡适的成
长环境与求学历程,并对中国五四时期的社会环境作出分析,揭示胡适文学思想
形成的潜在因素与时代因素;第二章阐述胡适文学思想内涵,主要从文学观、创
作立场、创作方法、文体建构四个层面对胡适文学思想展开研究,是本论文的主
体部分;第三章对胡适文学思想作出分析评价,通过把胡适其人与其思想都放回
到历史的坐标中,廓清胡适文学思想对中国现代文学发展的开风意义、自身固存
的某些局限性以及在不同历史时期的不同遭遇。以史为鉴,阐明今人研究胡适及
胡适思想应持的立场与采用的方式。本论文志在探析胡适文学思想对中国现代文
学发展的开风之功,彰显其对中国文学发展的意义,对有些问题的思考尚不成熟,
希望得到师长们的指正。

Abstract

Hu Shi said that the greatest one of benefits is the methodological guidance when
he concluded the impacts of John Dewey’s Philosophy of
considered that there are two pieces of essence of Dewey's Experimental
Methodology:bold hypothesis and conscientious order to explore Hu’s
literary concepts,I also prepares to adopt the method as Hu has engaged in
scholarship:to verify through turning to relevant historical materials as much as
paper makes Hu’s literary concepts as the origin,to retrospect the causes
along space-time,to explain the great significance backward and to make a critical
appraisal to his literary divergent ideas written,anized my
dissertation by three parts as follows:The first chapter is about retrospection of the
causes of Hu’s literary as to reveal the potential and time factors,I made a
comprehensive presentation of Hu Shi which regarding his growth stories,learning
experiences and analysis of social environments during the period of may 4th
movement;The second chapter is the contents of Hu’s Literary ’s mainly
composed of four dimensions just as the viewpoint of literature,the creation
standpoint,method and construction sty
