Calculation for Power System
Abstract
Power flow calculation is the foundation of power system is not only an important analysis function for power system, but also a tool for fault calculation, identification of relay protection and security analysis. Power flow calculation is the basic calculation of dynamic and static stabilization. In the research of power system planning and the existing operation mode, it is based on power flow calculation to quantificationally compare rationality, reliability and economy of power supply scheme or operation mode.
First of all,this paper introduces the manual calculation of simple power flow and the mathematical model of complex power flow calculation, including load flow calculation of simple branches, radial network and closed loop network, the basic concept of power network equation, power equation, as well as the classification of variable and node. Then this paper introduces popular computer algorithm for complex power flow at present, which focus on the details of the basic theory of Gauss - Seidel method, Newton - Raphson method and PQ decomposition method. Finally, this paper uses a power network equivalence of five nodes to carry on the example analysis, which has drawn the flow diagram of load flow calculation, using MATLAB software applications for computer analysis. Its operation contains the nodal injection power, nodal injection current, node voltage, line flow power, network power loss and the number of iterations. And the calculation results show that the algorithm has good convergence and practicability.
