Lin Qiaozhi (1901-1983), China
Lin Qiaozhi was a doctor who became a specialist in women’s illness. She devoted all her life to medical work for Chinese women and children. Her work encouraged many other women to e doctors.
Brief Introduction
1901 born in Xiamen, Fujian
1921 entered Beijing Union Medical College
1929 got a PhD degree(博士学位) in Gynecology(妇科医学)
1932 went to London for further study
1939 studied at the Chicago Medical College.
1940 returned to China as the Head of Gynecology and Obstetrics(妇产科)
1983 died and leaving her body for medical research
