内容摘要:China has e more active in international affairs since it adopted the policy
of reform and opening-up, and this has created a great market demand for simultaneous
interpretation. This thesis is a brief survey of the skills and techniques adopted during the course
of simultaneous interpretation, which include syntactic linearity、anticipation and waiting,
adjustment and addition, reformulation of information, ellipsis and transformation of syntactic
function, also some coping strategies for interpreting special materials like inverted sentences,
passive-voice and active-voice sentences, numbers, idioms and jokes are integral , and a good
mastery of them is one of the most important professional requirements for interpreters.

在这一复杂的双语转换活动过程中,译员的口译技术对同声传译的成败起着决定性作用。在
同声传译所涉及的诸多口译技术中,句子的合理切分尤为重要,译员需遵循“顺句驱动”原
则,将先听到的先译。此外,口译员还采用转换、增补、省略等技术手段对当前听辨到的源
语信息作出迅速及时的处理。该论文紧紧围绕同声传译的上述核心技术,进行了较系统的分
析和阐述。作者写作过程认真、严谨,论文视角合理,语料丰富且具有代表性,是一篇较为

1. Introduction
Simultaneous interpretation refers to an interpretation practice at almost the same speed to
interpret one language into another language in oral form, which invodes four aspects:language
knowledge, background knowledge, basic qualities of interpreter and the simultaneous
interpretation techniques( 张维为:1999, [10]). The first three aspects are the basis for
interpretation techniques, which could decide the quality of interpretation, and here I would like to
discuss something about techniques and skills in simultaneous interpretation.
2. Common techniques and skills of simultaneous interpretation
After nearly one year of study on simultaneous interpretation, I have summarized several
