摘要
本文在第一部分通过界定“民族性”与“时代性”两个概念,来分析苏天赐在绘画理论和
绘画技法两方面所体现出来的“民族性”与“时代性”的特点。
第二部分以苏天赐的绘画特色为出发点,来剖析苏天赐油画作品中所呈现的民族性与时代
性特点的成因。文章首先概述了林风眠所倡导的“中西调和论”这一绘画观点的思想内涵,接
着简述了苏天赐早期受到“调和论”影响下所作出的实践和探索;然后从苏天赐一生创作主要
选取的绘画题材的地域特色为出发点,简析这些题材对形成其绘画风格民族性特点起到的主要
作用。最后,通过分析苏天赐一生所经历的不同时代背景的特点,简要叙述了他的油画作品所
呈现的时代性特点的成因。
第三部分通过对中国传统山水画所主要依附的”六法论”这一创作理念和西方现代派美术
作品中主要体现的平面化和装饰性等形式美感加以简单分析,来具体论证苏天赐绘画理论以及
绘画语言的民族特点与时代气息。
第四部分,通过认识苏天赐油画艺术中民族性与时代性探索的价值,将对当下中国油画的
创作起到的启示作用。

ABSTRACT
This thesis first analyses the exploration of “national character” and “epochal character” made by
Su tianci in his painting theory and painting technics, through defining the conception of “national
character” and “epochal character”. Then it analyses the genesis of The “national character” and
“epochal character” presented in Su tianci’s painting, from his features of painting.
The second part taking the painting characteristics of Su tianci’s as the starting point for
analysing the reason of his oil painting works' national character and epochal characters. First of all,
the article provides an overview and the ideological content of "The theory of China and the West to
reconcile" adovacated by Linfengmian, and then outlines the early Sutianci’s practice and exploration
under the influence of "the reconciletheory";nextly,from the main geographical characteristics in Su’s
paintings ,tha article takes the geographical characteristics as the starting point for the analysis of
the main influence to forming his work’s national characteristics. Finally, by analyzing the traits of
different times in Su’s life, it makes a brief description of the reason of why his painting contains
epochal characters.
