摘要
文学翻译是文化交流活动的一个重要媒介,它并不是两种语言形式之间的简单转
换,而是两种文化之间的交流活动。源于文化差异性和译者主体性而产生的文化误读就
是文化交流中矛盾与冲突的集中体现,是伴随翻译过程始终的一种客观现象。从文化交
流与传播的角度来看,研究文化误读具有很积极的意义。因此应当全面地分析探讨文学
翻译中这一无法避免的现象。
本文以文化误读现象为研究对象,试在分析和整合国内外关于文化误读研究的理论
与成果的基础上,结合文学翻译实践对文化误读这一客观存在现象进行综合地分析探
讨。并根据文化误读的生成原因和具体表现将其划分为理解性误读和目的性误读两种类
型,同时认为应该采取客观的态度来全面地分析文化误读对文学翻译和文化交流产生的
效果与影响。其中,理解性误读起到的是绝对性的破坏性影响,而目的性误读则在不同
的文化时代背景下,对文学传播和文化交流都只能是具有一种相对性的破坏性或建设性
影响。同时本文针对不同的误读类型提出了相应的规避方法,以期减少文学翻译中文化
误读的出现,并借此引起翻译界内对文化误读现象的重视,为文学翻译事业的发展做出
贡献。

Abstract
Literary translation is an important medium of munication. It is not a mere
transfer of two languages, but the interaction of two cultures. Cultural misreading, which
results from cultural discrepancy and translator’s subjectivity, truly reflects where the
blockade and conflict in the munication is. Cultural misreading is an objective
phenomenon that exists in the entire process of translation. From the perspective of cultural
communication and exchanges,the study on this phenomenon is of positive significance.
Therefore,as an inevitable phenomenon in literary translation, it needs to be treated
comprehensively.
On the basis of analysis and integration of domestic and international research on
cultural misreading, this paper adopts this topic as the object of study and intends to make a
comprehensive analysis and discussion on this objective phenomenon in the light of the
practice of literary translation. According to the reasons and expressions of cultural
misreading, it can be divided into two types of misreading——interpretational misreading
and purposeful misreading. This paper points out that people should adopt an objective
attitude to make an overall analysis of the effect and influence of cultural misreading on
