ABSTRACT III STUDY ON CRASH SAFETY DESIGN OF FUEL CELL CAR ABSTRACT With the continuous encouragement and spread on new energy vehicle, fuel cell car related technologies also achie ve a considerable development. But people’s safety will be threatened if hydrogen or high voltage leakage occurs in fuel cell car, thus not only the vehicle stru cture safety need to be considered, but also the fuel cell vehicle related hydrogen and high voltage safety design should be more focused when the fuel cell vehicle safety, especially crash safety is under designing. The main purpose of this article is to discuss and rese arch vehicle crash safety design, search mon design and evaluate theory, and accumulate design and develop experience for such ki nd most representative fuel cell car, which will bring more accumulation for the i ndustrialization of fuel cell vehicle in the future. Firstly the fuel cell vehicle develop status is introduced in this article, then ? based on the character of a certain fuel cell vehicle, car crash safety design idea is discussed in this article and detailed design of fuel cell vehicle crash safety including structure, hydrogen and high vo ltage safety are introduced. Through the finite elem
