Two years have passed without being noticed, I am about to graduate from my dear and ettable university. When I look back, I realize how important these years are. Before entering this university, I was only an innocent girl without any experience, but now I am a graduate who is ready to step into the society and face difficulties. Before writing this thesis, I want to express my sincere appreciations to all the people who have helped me.
First and foremost, I am greatly indebted to my supervisor, Professor Yuan Yongfang, for her patient instruction, insightful criticism, and enlightening guidance. She has walked me through all the stages of the writing of this thesis. Without her consistent and illuminating instruction, this thesis could not have reached its present form. Besides her help on the thesis, I have also learnt the professional ethics from her.
Second, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the professors such as Professor Wang Dawei, Professor Zheng Lixin, and Professor Han Zhonghua, who have taught me how to do translation research.
I also owe my sincere gratitude to my friends, roommates, and fellow classmates who gave me their help and time in listening to me and helping me work out my problems during the difficult course of the thesis.
