生物科学史也就是生物科学的发展历史。
生物科学也就是广义的生物学,既包括动物学、植物学、微生物学、生态学和进化等传统学科,也包括遗传学、细胞生物学、生物化学和分子生物学等新兴学科。
生物科学史也就是生物学知识和规律的发现过程。
