Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear readers,

During the past year, the number of employees in the Group rose by almost ten percent. This is reason enough for us to put
even more emphasis on numbers, dates and facts of our subsidiaries in the human resources report 2006. Compared to the
previous years, you will therefore find a differently structured report with new focuses that will give you an even better insight
into the structures of the Group.

At the same token we observed that the understanding that we all contribute to the ess of one Group, even though we
might work in panies and at different locations, is constantly growing with both the management as well as the
workforce within the Group. This report goes into detail concerning the concepts and concrete measures to promote the idea of
being one Group.

We are confident that this development can be continued essfully. We base our optimism, in these times of serious
challenges in the international aviation, on the good teamwork between the employer and works council we have experienced
so far.

We will continue to go into great detail when es to reporting about the pany at the location Frankfurt. It goes
without saying that panies of the Group put their prime focus on safeguarding petitiveness in the highly
competitive market by means of implementing the necessary measures in order to achieve petitive ratio of cost,
performance and quality. This applies even more to the pany. At the same time, the pany provides a
great variety of voluntary and custom tailored benefits for the employees. In this report you will also find further information
on the perspectives and further development of these offers in terms of a useful work-life-balance for both employer and
employees.
