RESEARCH ON AXIOMATIC ANALYSIS AND
CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATIONAL
THEORY OF EVALUATION

ABSTRACT
Evaluation plays an important role in nowadays society, which is the premise of
decision. There is mon evaluation method because of the relative-objectivity
of evaluation. However, to formulate the applied theoretical foundation of evaluation
is not only feasible, but also necessary. Now, research on foundational theories about
evaluation still exists gaps at home and abroad. The law of subject development
shows: The development of evaluation needs basic theory support.
In this paper, axiomatic method, which is used in structuring subject knowledge,
is introduced into the area of evaluation for the construction of foundational theory of
evaluation. The main research results are:
First, mon and structure followed by evaluation methods in the course of
development are analyzed and summarized in terms of the guidelines, classification
and evolution of evaluation. Objective evidences are provided for theoretical research.
Subsequently, based on system analysis of evaluation, axiomatic method is
introduced into the construction of foundational theory of evaluation for the first time.
The feasibility study is made. Axiomatic theoretical framework and construction ideas
for foundational theory of evaluation are provided.
Finally, foundational evaluation concepts based on axiomatic thought are
proposed: the actor of evaluation, the object of
