非英语专业学生写作构思过程个案研究

摘要
写作是二语习得的重要部分。二语写作是认知思维过程。现在,更多的研究
者已经意识到了写作过程的重要性,并且已经将注意力转移到对于写作过程的研
究上。本文致力于非英语专业大学生英语写作过程的研究,旨在研究非英语专业
写作者在构思上的特点。
本研究运用了定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,使用的工具包括:问卷调
查,有声思维测试以及作文成文。所收集到的数据运用SPSS()进行描述性统
计分析和相关性分析,对有声思维材料进行定性分析以及对作文成文进行评分。
研究发现:非英语专业学生对于构思过程概念不太清楚,缺乏在构思元认知方
面的知识而且掌握的构思策略也不足。通过SPSS软件,我们将构思变量与写作成
绩做了相关性分析,发现高水平的写作者与低水平的写作者在元认知知识及构思
策略方面也有所不同。基于以上研究结果,作者在几方面对于提高学生们的写作
能力对英语教学提出一些建议及启示。

Abstract
Writing is an essential part of second language acquisition. Second language
writing is a cognitive process. Nowadays, more researchers have realized the
importance of writing process. This study will focus on the study of the non-English
majors’ planning process in English writing in order to help to enrich the research of
English writing.
The study employs both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Instruments
used in this study cover questionnaire, think-aloud test and the writing products.
SPSS() is used to conduct descriptive statistics analysis and correlated analysis.
Qualitative analysis is employed in the think-aloud test and the writing products are
analyzed and marked.
The general research findings are: non-English majors generally lack the
understanding of the concept of the planning process. Most subjects appear to lack the
knowledge about planning and the planning strategy. The correlative study shows the
students with different proficiencies share great differences in their planning process.
Based on the results and research findings, suggestions and implications are provided
on how to improve non-English majors’ writing abilities.
