台湾产业纵向一体化战略演变及产业特性分析
摘要
纵向一体化战略属于公司一体化战略的一种,为企业战略中一
项重要的决策,决定公司的业务范围、核心能力、竞争优势等。同
时,纵向一体化往往涉及重大投资决策,决策质量与效果极大的影
响企业的竞争能力和绩效表现,进而关键的决定了未来的生存与发
展。
理论界研究纵向一体化以产业组织学派与交易成本学派为主
流,研究范围多以单一产业以及其纵向一体化动因为主,本研究欲
结合此两派理论之特长与打破产业别界限,尝试建立一跨产业的纵
向一体化行为与价值的理论框架。
本研究以台湾地区六大制造业的 437 家上市公司为研究样本,
分别采用定量与定性方法进行产业内与跨产业研究。产业内研究以
统计回归模型检验企业纵向一体化与绩效的关系,跨产业研究以历
史轨迹法分析六产业 2000-2005 年各年度影响纵向度行为演变趋势
的重大产业事件,并归纳得出共通的产业影响因素。
最后,从产业影响因素中整合出六关键产业特性因子,分别与
企业纵向度行为及企业绩效进行皮尔逊相关分析,得出技术复杂度
与产业集中度分别为有效影响产业纵向一体化行为与企业绩效表现
的产业特性因子,并根据结果提出影响产业纵向一体化行为的理论
假说。

THE ANALYSIS OF VERTICAL INTEGRATION AND INDUSTRY
CHARACTERISTICS DEVELOPMENT IN TAIWAN INDUSRY
ABSTRACT
Vertical integration strategy, which decides the business boundaries,
petences petitive advantages, is one of the most
significant enterprise strategies. The decisions of vertical integration
usually pany with the giant investments and its quality and
e often plays an impressive role on the ability of essful access
to petence petitive advantages, even to the future
development and survival of one firm.
The mainstream of vertical integration theories are the Industrial
Organization (IO) and Transaction Cost Economics (TCE) theories. Most
prior research has focused on the single industry and the determinants of
the vertical integration. In contrast, this study tries bine the
distinguishing features of the two major theories and break the limitation
of industry boundary to build up a cross-industry framework of the
behavior and value of vertical integration.
The research setting for the study aimes at the six Taiwan
Manufacturing Industries and selects the 437 panies among
those industries as the research samples. This study takes two routes: one
is the inner industry research which employs regression statistics to
