1、课题提出的背景
当前全球已进入知识经济时代，知识经济使人才竞争、科技竞争进入白热化状态，科技和经济的根基在教育，教育竞争才是根本的竞争，从某种意义上讲知识经济其实就是教育的经济。因此，一个无法回避的现实问题便摆在我们教育工作者的面前，当前教学在培养人才方面是否真的有效?是高效，还是低效？于是教学的有效性、高效性问题便被凸现出来。在教学中如何植入高效教学的理念和策略，以适应时代发展对高素质人才培养的要求。
综观目前的中小学教学，有一个非常突出的问题：教师教得很辛苦，学生学得很痛苦，然而，我们的学生却没有得到应有的发展，甚至对学****产生逆反、抵触心理，逐渐失去了学****的主动性、积极性和创造性。“高耗低效，缺乏策略”，已成为教与学最突出的问题。
我校是一所农村小学6年一贯制学校，传统的教学方式根深蒂固，新的教学模式尚未形成，“以人为本” 的教育理念还没有被广大教师真正内化，还没有变成持续的教学行为，教学效率离高效课堂教学的要求还有一定的距离。
基于此，我们提出了这一课题，试图开拓一条有关高效课堂教学的特征及实施策略的研究，并进行尝试与实践。
