受调查的学生都认为选修课目很重要；%的学生认为“很有用〞。而100%的学生参加了选修课目的学****这说明，无论是校方或学生都普遍地认识到开设选修课目的重要性。校方在此方面具有正确的教育思想，而绝大多数学生能参加选修，这说明他们的主体意识加强，初步学会根据各自的需要和特点对学****内容进行选择。而这正是实施素质教育的特征及根底之一。

2选课空间：
在数据结果中，认为选修课选课空间很大和比较大的同学约占12%，认为选修课选课空间较小和很小的同学占88%。说明我校选修课的丰富程度有待提高。
较多的同学反映选修课程与必修课程的时间冲突，感兴趣的课程只在其他校区开设这两个问题较为突出，希望开设更多更丰富的选修课。

调查说明，约有38%的同学表示对自己选择的课程有较大的兴趣，有2%的同学表示对自己选的课程完全没有兴趣。
至于为什么对所选课程不感兴趣，同学的答复是选课前对课程不了解，到课后才发现自己对本课程不感兴趣；为了凑学分，只是随便选；为了和好朋友一起上课才选的；喜欢的课程已人满。
从选课影响因素的统计来看，超过80％的学生按照自己的兴趣选择课程，因此，分析学生的学****兴趣，对通识选修课的课程体系设置和提高教学效果有着重要的意义。从影响程度的比较来看，排第一位是兴趣爱好，其次是对就业有所帮助，第三是容易通过考试，第四是老师教学水平情况；而与专业是否相关的因素所占比例相对不大。因此我们组建议：在公布选修课列表时参加对课程的必要的介绍。
