Analysis of calcium propionate in foods by gradient leaching

Abstract: The method was proposed for calcium propionate in foods by Gradient Leaching of IC which made
in China. Using distillation by vapor to extract calcium propionate in foods, the recovery for real samples was
%~%, the lowest of detection was 5 mg/L, and the relative standard deviation was %. Analysis
time was shortened, sensitivity and precision were also improved by this method. It provided excellent
approach for qualitive and quantitative analysis further.
