文档介绍：武汉理工大学硕士学位论文中文摘要美国高等教育认证制度是确保美国高等教育健康发展的一个重要因素,也为保证美国高等教育质量作出了巨大贡献。分析美国高等教育认证制度,总结美国先进的教育质量管理经验,对我国高等教育改革和健康发展具有重要的启示和借鉴作用。本论文以教育学理论为指导,运用历史法、文献法、比较法对美国高等教育认证制度的形成动力、发展历史、运作过程进行了较为详细的剖析,并在此基础上对认证制度的特点和作用进行了分析,总结其经验,最后得出我国推行认证制度的必要性及基本构想。研究表明,美国高等教育认证制度将高等教育质量置于政府、社会、公众以及市场的监督之下,满足各方对高等教育的需求。认证工作是由政府授权美国高等教育认证委员会(cHEA)或美国教育部(USDE)对院校或专业认证机构进行认可,再由经认可的院校或专业认证机构对各级各类的院校或专业进行认证。认证机构是民间的、独立的、非盈利性的组织,依据个性化、特色化的认证标准对院校或专业进行认证,监督和协助其保证和提高高等教育质量,并向社会公布认证结果。总之,美国高等教育认证制度是一种以自我评估和同行评估为基础的外部质量保证机制,它较好的协调了高等教育内部以及高等教育与政府、社会之间的关系,是美国高校自我管理的重要手段和维护学术价值的重要力量,为美国高等教育质量保证作出了巨大贡献。我国目前正处于高等教育改革与发展的重要时期, 高等教育质量和数量的矛盾日益凸现。为了保证高等教育的质量,我国应参照美国高等教育认证制度的成功经验,尽快建立与完善具有中国特色的高等教育认证制度。关键词:美国,高等教育认证,认证制度武汉理工大学硕士学位论文 ABSTRACT Since theestablishment ofhigher education accreditation,it has e one of themost important factorsinensuring American higher education developing healthly, italso takes important part in guaranteeing American higher education quality.
