Abstract
Along with our country's economic increasing development of life and the
deepening of the reform of new curriculum, the term probability is ing more and
more into the life of ordinary people.
Probability, as an independent discipline, the speed of whose formation and
development is what other disciplines can’t match.
In the "high school mathematics curriculum standards (test)" and "full-time
regular senior high school curriculum", the term probability changed a lot in its
concept, structure , content as well as its teaching materials.
Front-line teachers should prehend the essence of the new
curriculum reform, we must study the changes in the old and new materials.
The study use the probability in the two teaching materials of "full-time regular
senior high school textbooks (Experimental Amendment). Mathematics" (PEP) and
"high school curriculum standard textbooks. Mathematics" (for Jiangsu) as the
