语块教学对非英语专业学生听力理解的影响研究

摘要
《大学英语课程教学要求》(2007)指出:大学英语的教学目的是培养学生的英
语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力。新型四六级考试也加大了听力的比重。因此,
提高学生的听力水平就变得日益重要。语块是指英语中一种特殊的多词词汇现象,
语块融合了语法、语义、语用和语境的优势,并且形式比较固定,整体存储在记忆
中,使用时可直接提取,不必借助于语法加工。在我国关于语块的研究主要集中于
理论层面。在实践层面,为数不多的研究又主要集中于语言输出技能方面,而在语
言输入技能方面,尤其是对听力影响的实证研究更是很少。本文试图探讨语块教学
是否对非英语专业学生听力理解水平具有促进作用,于是将语块教学引入课堂,通
过实地教学试验来解决以下四个问题:

通过对沈阳师范大学 2009 级两个自然教学班进行一学期的教学实验,并经过
的统计分析,得出以下结论:学生的语块量与学生的听力水平特别是听写
水平呈很强的正相关;语块的记忆有效地提高了学生的听写水平;语块教学对学生
的听力理解能力的提高具有明显的优势。问卷调查结果显示:学生虽有一定的语块
意识,且普遍认为语块对英语学习很重要,但是背单词仍以词汇表为主;学生也一
致认为语块教学对他们的听说读写都有帮助,很赞成这一教学方法。最后,作者也
分析了本文的不足之处,并对今后的研究提出了建议。

Abstract
College English Curriculum Requirements (2007) regulates: The teaching goal of
College English is to develop students’ ability to use English in prehensive way,
especially the ability of listening and speaking. The score value of listening
comprehension has also been increased to 35% in new CET4 and CET6. Therefore, it is
ing increasingly imperative to enhance students’ prehension
competence. Lexical chunks are a kind of relatively-fixed and frequently-used word
combination, which are stored and prefabricated in memory and retrieved as a whole
easily and automatically when used.
However, the researches into lexical chunks in our country are mainly focused on the
aspect of theory and only a few on the area of practice. Besides, compared with the skills
of speaking and writing, the researches on listening are much fewer. This thesis mainly
tries to discuss whether the Lexical Approach can have a positive role in the improvement
of prehension. Consequently, this approach is introduced into classroom so
as to solve the following four questions through concrete teaching practice.
